Our church meets for Sunday School and small group Bible studies at 9:45am every Sunday and for our worship gathering at 11:00am on Sundays.

We love that our church is made up of multi-generational families—a place where everyone from age 5 to 75 can find community and grow in faith together. Our worship services reflect our diverse congregation, with a mix of traditional hymns, choir music, and a worship band. You can expect an authentic, no-frills service and solid biblical teaching directly from Scripture.

Yes, we have a nursery for infants through three years old and age-appropriate classes for school-aged children.

God never intended church to be a fashion show. Occasionally, you may see a woman in a dress or a man in a tie, but most of the time, people wear nice clothes that are still casual and comfortable. Dress as you like.

You don’t need to bring anything with you, but some people bring their Bible or a pen and paper to take notes. Others prefer to read their Bible on their smartphone or bring along their Sunday School literature.

There is truly something for everyone in the family at First Baptist Sylacauga. Our children’s ministry and youth group help kids from birth through 12th grade learn about Jesus and grow in their faith. Our men’s, women’s, and senior adults ministries disciple adults throughout their life’s journey with Christ while creating opportunities for connection and friendship. 

In addition to our discipleship ministries, we also offer on-site recreation and opportunities to serve the community together. We hope First Baptist Sylacauga will become a place where you can do life with your entire family!
