About Saddle Up!

Saddle Up’s mission is to impact the lives of children and young adults with disabilities by providing opportunities to grow and develop through therapeutic, educational, and recreational experiences with horses.

We bring that mission to life by providing a year-round program on our 34-acre farm near Franklin, TN—a sanctuary of peace, love, healing, and growth. Our 501c3 program includes adaptive riding lessons, adaptive horsemanship, and therapy that includes equine movement to provide customized support to children with a wide range of disabilities.

At Saddle Up!, we believe that all children are equal in the saddle, and we offer these services at a deeply discounted rate and provide scholarships so that money is never a barrier. Over the last 30+ years, we’ve provided thousands of hours of equine-assisted services to children with special needs and have watched their lives transform through this work.
